The National Law University Delhi will conduct the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admissions to the B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LLM., and Ph.D programs for the Academic Year 2026 (commencing in July 2026) on December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in pen-and-paper mode.

  1. Access the Official Portal
    Go to the official website of NLU Delhi (AILET 2026 section).

    Click on the “AILET 2026 Registration” link on the homepage. Create your account using a valid mobile number and email address.
  3. Complete the Application Form
    Enter all required details such as your full name, academic qualifications, contact information, and any other relevant details.
  4. Upload Required Documents
    Attach scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  5. Review and Submit
    Double-check all details for accuracy before submission.
  6. Pay the Application Fee
    Proceed to pay the applicable fee through the available online payment methods.

AILET 2026 – Application Fee Payment Options

While completing the AILET 2026 application, candidates can pay the registration fee through any of the following online modes:

  • Debit Card

  • Credit Card

  • UPI

  • Net Banking

Once the payment is processed successfully, a digital acknowledgement receipt will appear in the candidate’s account. It is advisable to download and save this receipt, as it may be required for future reference.

Tips to Prepare for AILET 2026

  • Know the exam pattern & syllabus – Focus on English, Current Affairs/GK, and Logical Reasoning.

  • Build a strong foundation – Clarify concepts in the first 1–2 months before moving to speed drills.

  • Read daily – Editorials + 2 RC passages for comprehension and vocabulary growth.

  • Stay updated with GK – Revise the last 12 months’ current affairs, focusing on legal events and national/international news.

  • Take mock tests regularly – Start with 1 every 2 weeks, increase to 2–3 per week before the exam.

  • Revise smartly – Maintain short notes for vocab, GK facts, and reasoning shortcuts.

  • Simulate exam conditions – Practice time-bound papers to improve accuracy and speed.
