Preparing for CLAT 2027 without a structured plan can lead to confusion, inconsistent preparation, and missed opportunities for improvement. A well-planned study roadmap helps you cover the syllabus systematically, build strong reading and reasoning skills, and stay consistent throughout the preparation journey.
This CLAT 2027 Weekly Study Plan is designed to help you manage your time effectively, track progress, and prepare strategically for a top score.
Table of Contents
A CLAT 2027 weekly study plan for the last 5 weeks should balance revision, full-length mocks, and error analysis, so that the final days go to consolidation instead of new topics.
| Week | Focus | Daily targets | Full mocks |
| Week 1 | Baseline and weak spots | Revise fundamentals in all five sections and list your weak areas | 1 baseline mock with full analysis |
| Week 2 | Focused practice | Extra time on your weakest section, timed passages, daily GK | 2, plus sectional drills |
| Week 3 | Mocks and error correction | Question selection, time per passage, recurring errors | 2 to 3 |
| Week 4 | Accuracy and consolidation | Cut negative marks, merge GK notes and formulas, check for your admit card | 2 to 3 |
| Week 5 | Revision and rest | Notes, formulas and past errors. No new material | 1 or 2 light ones, only if useful |
| Exam day | CLAT 2027 | Light revision only | None |
Take a full mock under exam conditions, ideally at 2:00 PM. Check your section-wise scores, accuracy, and time per passage, then list the topics that need work and set a routine you can keep for five weeks. If you need to revisit the structure of the test, read the CLAT exam pattern.
Give extra time to your weakest section. Practise timed Legal Reasoning, English and Logical Reasoning passages, revise GK daily, and go through each mock’s mistakes before you attempt the next one.
Keep a steady mock schedule. Practise deciding which questions to attempt and how long a passage deserves, revisit your recurring errors, and pull your GK notes and formulas into one place. Use CLAT previous year question papers to get used to the passages and question types you may see.
Shift from covering topics to cutting avoidable losses. Every wrong answer costs 0.25 marks, so check how many marks guesses cost you in your last mocks and fix those first. The admit card is expected around two weeks before the exam, so check for it this week and read the instructions on it. The CLAT 2027 admit card page has updates.
Revise what you already know: Current Affairs notes, formulas and past mistakes. Don’t start a new book or change your strategy now. Ease off the mocks if they leave you tired or anxious, and keep your sleep and meals regular. For a day-by-day version of this stretch, see our last 20 days strategy for CLAT 2027.
| Day | Morning | Afternoon | Evening |
| Monday | Current Affairs and weak-area practice | Full mock, 2:00 to 4:00 PM | Mock analysis and error log |

| Wednesday | Logical Reasoning | Quantitative Techniques | Current Affairs |
| Thursday | Sectional timed tests | Full mock, 2:00 to 4:00 PM | Mock analysis and vocabulary |

Pick the template that matches your day.

Use weekends for your mocks and for the longer blocks from Template A.
A CLAT 2027 mock test schedule for the last 5 weeks should use full-length mocks to find weak areas early, build consistency and cut negative marks, so aspirants stay sharp without getting tired.
| Week | Full-length mocks | Sectional timed drills | Main goal |
| Week 1 | 1 baseline mock | Light practice, as needed | Find weak areas |
| Week 2 | 2 | On your weakest section | Build consistency |
| Week 3 | 2 to 3 | Accuracy-focused | Refine question selection |
| Week 4 | 2 to 3 | Accuracy-focused | Cut negative marks |
| Week 5 | 1 or 2, only if useful | Minimal | Stay sharp without tiring yourself |
Take at least a few of your mocks between 2:00 and 4:00 PM, the official exam slot, in a quiet room. CLAT is a pen-and-paper exam, so practise with a pen and an OMR-style sheet if you can.

When is CLAT 2027?
CLAT 2027 is on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It is a pen-and-paper exam with 120 questions.
How many mock tests should I take in the last month?
Take two to three full-length mocks a week from Week 2 to Week 4, then one or two light ones in Week 5. Review each mock properly before you take the next. The quality of your review counts for more than the number of mocks.
How should I revise Current Affairs in the final weeks?
Revise your monthly notes daily, take short GK quizzes and re-attempt the questions you got wrong.
What time should I attempt mock tests?
Take some of them between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, the same slot as the exam, so your mind is used to working at that hour.
Should I attempt every question in CLAT 2027?
No. Each wrong answer costs 0.25 marks, while an unattempted question costs nothing. Attempt a question when you can rule out options with a reason.
How can I manage stress before CLAT 2027?
Keep a routine, sleep well, take short breaks and avoid comparing your progress with other students.
