Race to NLUs 2027: Phase 1 Wrap-Up and Everything About Phase 2

Race to NLUs 2027: Getting into an NLU is not about last-minute revision. It is about knowing exactly where you stand, months before the exam, and fixing it with a plan, not guesswork. That is the entire idea behind Race to NLUs (RTNLU), CL-LST’s flagship CLAT preparation program.

The 2027 edition began with Phase 1: The Headstart on 26 July 2026, and based on the response, it delivered exactly what it promised.

What Is Race to NLUs (RTNLU)?

Race to NLUs is CL-LST’s three-phase preparation circuit built for CLAT aspirants who want more than just concept revision; they want a plan that actually moves the score needle. It runs across three checkpoints: online, offline, then online again, so the momentum doesn’t break between now and CLAT day.

• Phase 1 – The Headstart: Online. A diagnostic-driven start to identify exactly where students are stuck.
• Phase 2 – In-Person: Offline, across 30+ cities. Face-to-face strategy and doubt-solving.
• Phase 3 – The Finale: Online, closer to CLAT day. Final scoring strategy and mock analysis.

Every edition has taken students from a starting score of 0 all the way up to the 90+ band, which secures an NLU seat, and in the last edition, this program helped 17 students get into NLSIU Bangalore.

Phase 1: The Headstart – What It Covered

Phase 1 was held online on 26 July 2026, free for CL-LST students. The session was built around a simple, honest starting point: most CLAT aspirants plateau at a 60-65 score, and don’t know why.

Mentors used this session to:

• Break down where students typically lose marks, section by section.
• Show why “just solve more questions” doesn’t work, and what to do instead: a proper sectional scoring strategy.
• Set a clear target of 90+, and map out what each section needs to contribute to get there.
• Open the floor for direct Q&A with CL-LST’s law mentors.

The goal was not to teach a new concept in one sitting; it was to give every student a clear, personal starting map before the real preparation grind begins.

What’s Next: Phase 2 (In-Person)

Phase 1 was the head start. Phase 2: In-Person is where the real work begins.

Unlike Phase 1’s diagnostic overview, Phase 2 is built for execution. Students get to sit across from mentors in their own city, walk through their weakest section in detail, and leave with a plan they can actually follow, not just notes.

After Phase 2, the program closes with Phase 3: The Finale, an online session expected around October 2026, focused on final scoring strategy and mock test analysis in the last stretch before CLAT day.
