The AILET 2027 UG eligibility criteria for admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme are given below.

AILET 2027 Education Qualifications

Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the Class 12 (10+2) examination from a recognised board or equivalent examination. The category-wise minimum marks requirement is as follows:

Candidates who appeared in the Class 12 examinations in April/May 2026 are also eligible to apply for AILET 2027.

AILET 2027 Age Limit

There is no upper age limit for appearing in AILET 2027 for the UG programme. Candidates can apply as long as they meet the required educational qualification and minimum marks criteria.

AILET 2027 Tie-Breaking Rule

In case two or more candidates score equal marks, merit will be determined in the following order:

  • Logical Reasoning marks: higher score gets preference
  • Age: older candidate gets preference
  • Automated draw of lots: if tie still persists

AILET 2027 Exam Eligibility (PG)

The AILET 2027 PG eligibility criteria for admission to the LL.M. (One-Year) programme are given below. 

AILET 2027 Education Qualifications (PG)

Candidates must possess an LL.B. degree or an equivalent legal degree from a recognised institute. The category-wise minimum marks requirement is as follows:

Note: Foreign National candidates will additionally be assessed on written and spoken English communication skills and performance at an interview.

Candidates currently enrolled in or awaiting results of their LL.B. programme may also apply. However, eligibility must be established before the cutoff date published along with the Entrance Test Result notification.

There is no upper age limit for appearing in AILET 2027 for the LL.M. programme. Candidates can apply as long as they satisfy the required academic eligibility criteria.

AILET 2027 Application Form

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can proceed to fill out the AILET 2027 application form. The application window for AILET 2027 is expected to open in August 2026; the exact date will be announced with the official notification.

Candidates must ensure that the application fee is paid successfully; those who fail to complete fee payment will not be permitted to enter the exam venue. The AILET 2027 admit card will be issued only to candidates who have submitted a complete application form along with the requisite fee.

AILET 2027 Preparation Tips

Any competitive exam poses some challenges to a student. So its preparation requires extra effort than what is taught or put in the school.

The following are some AILET preparation tips that students should know and take care of.

  • Try to complete the AILET syllabus in advance, almost 2-3 months before the final exam.
  • Find overlaps between the school, CLAT, & AILET syllabi to minimize effort.
  • Leave the last 3 months for mock-taking and refining your AILET-taking strategy.
