SLAT Syllabus 2027: Preparation Tips
Cracking SLAT 2027 is absolutely doable with the right approach. Here are some tried-and-tested tips to help you prepare smart:
- Know what you're walking into: Before opening a single book, get well-acquainted with all 5 sections, the number of questions, and the difficulty level of each. Preparation without direction is just wasted effort.
- Mock tests are your best friend: Nothing builds speed and accuracy like regular practice with SLAT sample papers and mock tests. The more you practice, the more comfortable you'll feel on exam day.
- Always practice under the clock: Don't just solve questions - solve them within a time limit. SLAT gives you just 60 minutes for 60 questions, so every second counts. Build that pace early.
- Make news reading a daily habit: The GK and Legal Reasoning sections reward candidates who stay informed. Read a national newspaper daily and follow major legal developments, government schemes, and international affairs regularly.
- Get comfortable with the CBT format: Since SLAT is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, practice on online platforms beforehand. The last thing you want on exam day is to struggle with the interface.
- Revise, revise, revise: Legal maxims, constitutional provisions, and static GK don't stick after one read. Build a revision schedule and revisit these topics consistently throughout your preparation.
