NLU Delhi
NLU Delhi was established after the enactment of The National Law University, Delhi Act, 2007 (Delhi Act 1 of 2008). The primary objective of the University is to evolve and impart comprehensive and interdisciplinary legal education that is socially relevant. Through this education, NLU Delhi aims to promote legal and ethical values and foster the rule of law and objectives enshrined in the Constitution of India.

NLU Delhi UG B.A. LLB Honors
It is an integrated five year law program offered by NLU Delhi.
NLU Delhi UG B.A. LLB Honors Eligibility
- Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or an equivalent exam by not less than 50%
- Foreign Nationals Category should have secured 65% marks in the Higher Secondary Examination or an equivalent examination.

NLU Delhi LL.M Program
LL.M is post graduate program of two years of duration.
NLU Delhi LL.M Program Eligibility:
- To be eligible for admission to the LL. M. program, a candidate should have passed the LL.B. or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks on aggregate (50% in case of reserved categories, i.e. SC/ST/Persons with Disability).
- For Foreign Nationals to be to be eligible for admission to the LL. M. program, a candidate should have passed the LL.B. or an equivalent degree from a university recognized by UGC/ Association of Indian Universities with not less than 55% marks.
NLU Delhi Ph.D. Program
- NLU Delhi offers a full-time Ph.D. program. The minimum duration of the program is 3 years.
- There is also a provision for part-time enrollment. The minimum duration of this program is 4 years.
NLU Delhi Ph.D. Program Eligibility:
To be admitted to the candidature for a doctoral degree an applicant shall meet one of the following criteria:
- A Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale.
- Obtained a degree in law and Master’s Degree with M. Phil. in social sciences or humanities of any recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale
- For the above two categories, a relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission
- Candidates possessing a Degree in law and Master’s Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited as per UGC Regulations shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. program.
- Degree in law and Ph.D. in any discipline.
- Judge of any State High Court in India with three years’ experience or Judge of Supreme Court of India.
NLU Delhi Ph.D. Seat Intake
The number of seats available for Ph.D. program will be notified by the University every year before the start of admission process keeping in view the availability of teachers for guiding Ph.D. Scholars. However, the number of seats may be increased up to 25% for considering the applications of regular faculty members of the NLU Delhi for Ph.D. admission, who are otherwise fulfilling the required eligibility criteria
