Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is conducted by Symbiosis International University to admit students to its three Law Schools, Symbiosis Law Schools located at Pune, Noida and Hyderabad. Symbiosis Law School, Pune was established in the year 1977 and has been a pioneer in the field of legal education.
SLAT is the first stage of selection process and students who clear the cut-off as decided by SLAT secretariat will move to next and final stage of selection process-Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview (WAT/PI).

SLAT will be conducted online on 4th May 2019 from 9:30 AM to 12 Noon
SLAT 2019 shall be conducted in offline mode where the paper will have 150 questions from five different subjects including English (Comprehension), General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Analytical Reasoning, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Scope and coverage of questions under different subject areas:
Reading Comprehension:The English section will comprise of 30 questions from comprehension passages. The unseen passages will be tailed by questions related to the passage. The English section is meant to test the language skill of the candidates.
General Knowledge:The 30 questions of General Knowledge will cover the topics such as History, Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics and Current Affairs of the past one year. This section will assess your knowledge of the recent happenings and awareness of the world.
Analytical Reasoning:This section will have 30 and will include questions on Permutation and Combination, Blood Relations, Mixtures, Ratio and Proportion, Series, Number System, Time and Work, Mensuration, Clocks and Calendar, Profit- Loss and Discount, Coding-Decoding, Number Series, Probability etc.
Logical Reasoning:This section will have 30 questions based on topics such as Number Test, Series Test, Coding and Decoding, Odd One Out, Statement Arguments, Verbal Reasoning, Analogy, Statement Assumptions, Ranking, Questions n Relations, Syllogisms
Legal Aptitude:This section will test candidate's interest towards study of law, research aptitude and problem solving ability. Questions may include legal propositions (described in the paper), and a set of facts to which the said proposition has to be applied. There will be questions based on Legal Knowledge too.
SLAT is of 150 minutes duration, comprising 150 questions across five different areas and is conducted offline.
