AILET Application Form: The National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) administers the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), a national entrance test, to candidates for admission to the undergraduate and graduate legal programs it offers.

A. Online mode: Applicants can use an online payment portal to pay the application cost with a credit card, debit card, or net banking method. To pay the application fee, candidates must choose the "Online Payment Gateway" payment option, enter their card or net banking information, and complete the payment.
B. Offline mode: Candidates must choose "Cash Deposit at Post Office" as their payment option if they wish to pay the application fee offline. After choosing their city and the closest branch, a challan will be created. After creating the challan, download it and pay the charge in cash at the designated branch within 48 hours. Within 72 hours of the fee being paid, the applicant's account will show the revised status.

There will be three sections in the AILET 2026 exam. Each section has a different number of questions, as given in the table below and each question carries 1 mark with a 0.25 mark deduction for every wrong answer.

Yes. Candidates can choose the “Pay in Cash at Post Office” option. Once the challan is generated, the fee amount has to be paid at the designated post office within 48 hours, and the payment status will be updated within 72 hours.
The AILET 2026 exam will be conducted on 14 December 2025, in offline (pen-paper) mode in multiple test centres all across India.
For the BA LLB (Hons.) program, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). There is no upper age limit. Students appearing in Class 12 in 2026 can also apply provisionally.
