The NLAT 2027 registration fee will be announced by NMIMS on the official website nlat.nmims.edu. Based on the previous year's pattern, the fee structure is as follows:

Note: The name on the Aadhaar card and NMIMS registration form must be identical. Candidates should keep their AAPAR ID / ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credits) ready before filling the registration form.


NLAT 2027: Slot Booking

Slot booking is only open to paying candidates. Candidates who have successfully registered can choose the date and location of the NLAT 2027.

However, whether the candidate is assigned to the requested slot is determined by the test centre's capacity. As a result, this facility is accessible on a first-come, first-served basis.


NLAT 2027: Admit Card

The applicant will receive the admit card via their email ID after slot booking. A confirmation email will be sent as well. Alternatively, the candidate can download the admit card from the link on the official NMIMS website using their login credentials.

The processes for downloading the NLAT admit card are as follows.

The candidate must also carry their original ID (Voter's ID / Passport / Aadhaar Card / Driving License (Learner's license not accepted) / 12th Admit Card with photo / PAN Card) on the test day.


NLAT 2027: Result

NLAT 2027 results will be made available online on the official website, nlat.nmims.edu, after the exams are completed. The results are released in the form of a merit list. Candidates can also obtain their individual scorecards by logging in with their registration credentials.

Both exams share a similar pattern and syllabus. However, NLAT has no negative marking, which makes it slightly more forgiving and a great option alongside CLAT preparation.

NLAT is conducted by NMIMS for admission to its own campuses only, while CLAT is a national-level exam accepted by 27 NLUs across India. Both have a similar syllabus and pattern, but NLAT has no negative marking and allows multiple attempts.

NLAT scores are accepted by 7 NMIMS campuses - Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad.

NLAT 2027 has 150 MCQ questions divided across 5 sections - 30 questions each, to be completed in 120 minutes.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate from any stream. Students currently appearing in Class 12 exams are also eligible to apply.

No, there is no negative marking in NLAT 2027. Candidates should attempt all 150 questions to maximise their score.

Candidates get 3 attempts in total - 1 main attempt and 2 retakes. The best score across all attempts is considered for the merit list.
