Given below is a detailed section-wise AILET 2024 exam analysis. All the test takers are advised to go through the detailed AILET exam analysis (2024) to estimate their performance and evaluate possible options for them
The difficulty level of this section was easy-moderate. The section had questions based on vocabulary, tone, specific data, and inference-based questions. Grammar questions were part of the RCs. 2 assertion-reason-based based and 1 cause-effect question were also present.
Reading comprehension passages were the only part of the section, so it was not lengthy. A good attempt could range from 40-42, with an ideal score of 36-38.
The section was separated this year. The difficulty level was moderate to difficult. A good attempt in the section would be 50-52, with an ideal score ranging from 45-46
This section was a surprise, as many questions were from passage-based CR (Assumption questions, strengthen and weaken questions were in large numbers.) There were hardly any questions focused on analytical reasoning. Legal Reasoning made an appearance here with Fact-principle questions and one passage-based question. 14 questions of syllogisms, one passage, one in which there were 4 questions were also present.
The General Knowledge section in this year’s paper was dominated by current affairs, with questions coming from topics that were in the news till about a couple of days before the exam.
Unlike in previous years, static questions on Science, History, and Polity were completely missing. There were 3 static questions based on the Economy and 1 Geography question. Questions testing knowledge of National news, international news, Personalities, Science and Technology, Awards, and Sports news comprised a good part of the section; especially international news dominated the current affairs sections.
The overall difficulty level of the paper was Medium. An attempt of 23-25 would be regarded as a good attempt for the students with an ideal score of 20+.
