On the day of the CLAT 2027 exam, keep the following entry timings in mind:

• Entry into the exam centre begins at 1:00 PM.
• All candidates must be seated by 1:30 PM.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter after 2:15 PM under any circumstances.

Without your CLAT 2027 admit card and other essential documents, you will not be permitted to enter the exam hall.

How to Select CLAT Exam Centers 2027?

Given below is the step-by-step process for selecting your preferred exam center:

• Step 1: Visit the official website and register using your name, mobile number, and email ID
• Step 2: Log in using your registered mobile number and password
• Step 3: Fill in your personal and academic details in the application form
• Step 4: Navigate to the Preferences tab and select up to 3 exam centers in order of preference
• Step 5: Upload required documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form

Note: Exam center allotment is based on your preference order and seat availability. Choose centers that are closest and most accessible to you.

How to Edit CLAT Exam Centers 2027 Preference?

Given below is the step-by-step process to edit exam center preference:

• Step 1: Candidates should log in to their online application on the official website.
• Step 2: Candidates should then click on the ‘Edit My Application’ button on the dashboard.
• Step 3: Navigate to the Preferences tab and update your exam center choices.
• Step 4: Click the 'Next' button and check the declaration box.
• Step 5: Click 'Submit' to save your updated preferences.

Important: Exam center preferences can only be edited until the application correction window closes. No changes will be permitted after the deadline or once the admit card is issued.

Documents Required at CLAT Exam Center 2027

The candidates must carry the following items inside the exam centers:

• Printed copy of CLAT 2027 Admit Card
• Original Government-issued Photo ID
• Two recent passport-size photographs (in case photo on admit card is unclear)
• Blue/Black ballpoint pen
• Analogue watch
• Transparent water bottle
• Hand sanitizer
• PwD/SAP candidates must carry their original Disability Certificate

The following is a list of the photo ID that are allowed in the CLAT exam centre:

• PAN Card
• Passport
• Driving License
• Voter’s ID Card
• Bank Passbook with a photograph
• Photo ID evidence with a photograph issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead
• Photo ID evidence with an image issued by a People's Representative on official letterhead
• A valid current ID card issued by a recognised college or university is required.
• Aadhar card/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card with a photograph

Candidates Using Scribe in CLAT 2027

Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and PwD applicants will be allowed an extra 40 minutes (20 minutes per hour) to complete the exam, irrespective of whether the candidate uses a scribe or not.

Candidates who require a scribe must specify this during registration. They may either bring their own scribe or request one from the Consortium's approved panel.

Scribe Eligibility:

• The scribe must not have completed more than Class 11.
• The scribe must not be affiliated with any coaching center or test preparation organization.

Documents Required:

• Original Disability Certificate issued by a competent government authority.
• A signed declaration by the scribe confirming they will follow all exam rules.
• A statement indicating whether the candidate will arrange their own scribe or request one from the Consortium.

Note: Candidates requiring scribe assistance are advised to carry all relevant documents and report to their exam centre well in advance.

CLAT 2027 Exam Day Instructions

At their various exam centers, candidates are advised to follow the following guidelines:

No Late Entry: Candidates arriving more than 15 minutes after the exam has commenced will not be allowed entry under any circumstances. No extra time will be provided.

Admit Card + Original ID is Mandatory: A printed admit card along with an original government-issued photo ID is compulsory. Photocopies or digital copies of ID proof will not be accepted.

Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, earphones, and any electronic gadget are strictly banned inside the exam hall. Confiscated items will not be returned during the exam.

No Baggage Counter: The consortium provides no facility to store bags or belongings. Candidates are advised to come with minimal belongings.
