About MNLU, Aurangabad

MNLUA is the third National University to be established in the state of Maharashtra. It is the latest addition the list of NLUs in India. MNLUA commenced from March 16th 2017. The mission of the university is to works towards the development and advancement of legal education and for the purpose of imparting specialized and systematic instruction, training and research in systems of law.

  • Admission to this program is purely based on merit determined through a Common Law Admission test (CLAT) conducted by the participating NLUs in rotation

MNLUA Eligibility

For B.A.,LL.B (Hons)

A candidate for admission to the B.A, LL.B (Hons.) Degree Course shall have:

  • passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an examination equivalent thereto securing in the first attempt, not less than 45% (40% in the case of SC/ST candidates and persons with disability) in the aggregate
  • There is no age limit as per the 2017 rules

Those who do not clear the qualifying examination with the requisite marks are not eligible for admission.

For B.A.,LL.B (Hons)

The intake for the undergraduate program is 60 seats.

The University follows Government of Maharashtra reservation policy with regard to admission of students. The breakup of the seats is as follows:
