About GNLU Gujarat
The Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), established under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003, is a statutory National Law University located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It commenced its academic programmes in 2004 and admits students through CLAT conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities.
GNLU is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Sections 2(f) and 12(B), holds a NAAC 'A' Grade.

GNLU Gujarat Admission (2026-27)
Admission Through CLAT
Admission to GNLU's UG (LL.B.) and PG (LL.M.) programmes is through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. GNLU participates in the CLAT centralised counselling process.
For NRI/NRI-Sponsored, Foreign National, J&K Residents, and North-East India (NEI) categories, separate notifications are issued by GNLU directly on its admissions page.
UG Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed the HSC/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
- Candidates appearing in their qualifying examination may apply provisionally.
- There is no upper age limit for admission (as per 2017 rules).
