About NLU Jodhpur
National Law University Jodhpur (NLUJ), established under the Rajasthan State Legislature's National Law University, Jodhpur Act, 1999, is one of India's premier law schools, imparting quality legal education since 2001. Located on NH-62, Nagour Road, Mandore, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, the university operates on a fully residential model and admits students through CLAT conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities.
NLUJ is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC), holds ISO certification, and is one of only a few NLUs with multiple internationally indexed student-run journals.

There is an annual increase of Rs. 5,000 per year in semester/tuition fees for UG students, and Rs. 60,000 per year for NRI/NRI Sponsored candidates. NLU Jodhpur: Admission Process 2026
Admission Procedure
Admission to NLUJ's UG (LL.B.) programme is conducted purely on merit through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. There is no separate NLU Jodhpur entrance test.
Eligibility
- 10+2 from a recognised board with minimum 45% marks in aggregate
- 40% for SC/ST candidates
- Age: as per CLAT guidelines

- Centralised counselling: Choice filling → Seat allotment → Document verification → Reporting to NLUJ
