The Consortium of NLUs usually sends out the admit card two weeks before the test. The wait was a little shorter this year, but it was still the same in terms of anxiety.

You can now get your CLAT 2026 Admit Card, which is only 12 days before the test!

This guide will show you how to get your admission card, what to look for on it, and what to do with it once you have it.

3. Click “Log In”
4. Click “Get Your Admit Card”
5. Download the PDF of your admission card and print it.

CLAT 2026: Exam Instructions

The exam instructions are mentioned on the applicants’ admit cards. Furthermore, the consortium publishes distinct CLAT instructions for bell times, test-conducting standards, and regulations. Some key test guidelines are provided below.

• Candidates must bring their admit card, as well as a valid ID card, to the exam centre. Those who do not bring their admission card or ID card cannot take the exam.
• Candidates should arrive at the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the test begins.
• No applicant will be permitted to enter the examination venue 15 minutes after the test has begun.
• Carrying any study materials or taking handwritten notes is forbidden.
• Candidates are also not permitted to bring any electronic gadgets, such as smartphones, calculators, smartwatches, or other electronic devices.
• No applicant will be permitted to leave the exam hall before the exam is completed.

Before D-Day, here are a few things aspirants can do to prepare best for the exam:

• Checking the CLAT exam centre beforehand and getting there well in advance always helps.
• Maintain a buffer of extra time on the exam day to avoid losing your composure during the test.
• Practice time management by attempting the previous year’s question papers and mock tests.
• Try to take mocks in the same slot as your exam to build muscle memory.
• Keep taking mocks. Nothing will prepare you better for the exam than taking the exam.
