AILET 2026 Result: Tie-Breaker

The process used to calculate the merit rank when two or more applicants get the same score in AILET 2026 is explained below.

B.A. LL.B. Degree Program

• If two or more applicants have the same score, their merit will be evaluated by who received the greater score in the logical reasoning portion.
• If the tie remains, the candidate who is older will be given precedence.
• If the tie is still undetermined at this point, the merit rank will be determined by a computerized draw of lots.

LL.M. Course

• If two or more applicants have the same score then the older age candidate will be given the higher rank.
• If the result is still the same, then merit rank will be determined by a computerized draw of lots.

AILET 2026 Merit List

Along with the results, NLU Delhi will publish the AILET merit list. The following information will be included on the merit list:

• Candidate’s name and roll number
• Their grade
• Rank achieved by the candidate in AILET
