About RMLNLU

Dr.Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University was established by an Act of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in 2005, U.P. Act No.28 of 2005 and came into being on 4th of January 2006. The Objective of the University is to provide knowledge of the law, and legal process, to develop a sense of responsibility among the students to serve society. RMNLU was ranked 14th in India by The Week's "Top Law Colleges 2017". The infrastructure of the college is one of the best infrastructures among various National Law Universities. Its students have excelled in every field, whether it's National or International Moots, debates, or other co-curricular activities. RMLNLU library "Madhu Limaye Library" houses 25,057 books, 6658 Back Volume of Journals, 120 Journals, 10 online databases, 426 E-books, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Have passed, the Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an equivalent Examination from a University/recognized Board, securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks (for SC/ST category candidates - 45% of the total marks).
  • There is no age limit as per 2017 rules
  • Those who do not clear the qualifying examination with the requisite marks are not eligible for admission
