MNLU Mumbai

The youngest among all the NLUs, MNLU Mumbai was established in 2014, in the State of Maharashtra, for the development and advancement of legal education and for the purposes of imparting specialized and systematic instruction, training and research in systems of law and for the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. MNLU Mumbai offers a forum for the community of scholors both within and outside India tp take a broad inter-disciplinary approach to the study of law, thereby reaching a wide readership, including legal academics, social scientists, jurist, students and others.

MNLU Mumbai Admission 2021

For B.A.,LL.B (Hons)

  1.  Admission to this program is purely based on merit determined through a Common Law Admission test (CLAT) conducted by the 18 participating law schools in rotation

For LL.M

  1. The admission shall be based on the performance in the Common Law Admission Test

For B.A.,LL.B (Hons)
A candidate for admission to the B.A, LL.B (Hons.) Degree Course shall have:

  1. passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an examination equivalent thereto securing in the first attempt, not less than 50% (45% in the case of SC/ST candidates and persons with disability) in the aggregate
  2. There is no age limit as per the 2017 rules

Those who do not clear the qualifying examination with the requisite marks are not eligible for admission.
For LL.M

  1. As per the CLAT 2017 Common Rule

  • Tuition Fee increase every year by Rs. 5000.
  • One-time Convocation Fee of Rs. 5000 will be payable on Tenth semester.

  • The payment gateway will be open for specified period to be notified in the University website later.
  • Receipts for each payment shall be generated as soon as the credit of amount paid is recorded in the bank account.
