What is LST Plus ?

LST Plus is a one year training program designed for students who have just entered class 12 or who have completed class 12 and are still within the age limit required for admission. This course has 2 basic components - firstly, the classroom training support and second, the entire LST Beacon postal and online course. This course is targeted at the 2010 entrance exams.

A. Classroom Training

A total of 124 teaching hours broken up as follows:

Term 1 & 2 - June 2009 to November 2009: 78 hours (4-6 hrs a week)

Term 3 - December 2009: 22 hours (4-6 hrs a week)

Term 4 - April – May 2010: 24 hours (8 hrs a week)

Profile of terms

Term 1 & 2: To firmly establish the fundamentals including Subject Diagnostics, customized online Practice Tests, Assimilation Tests.

Term 3: Introduction to Exam Oriented questions.

Term 4: Exam preparation for CLAT 2010.

In-class and post-class material
  • Subject diagnostics to assess the student at the entry level.

  • Course Structure is based upon the pattern of Past Years Question Papers with special regard to the question papers in 2009.
  • The team spends considerable time reviewing the papers and customising the course structure based on the recent papers.

  • myLST contains the following:
    • Exercises on all the areas taught in the Modules. These are customized to the needs of the student depending on his levels as indicated in the Diagnostic Tests
    • Periodically updated online study material / quizzes for vocabulary, GK and Legal Awareness.
    • Analysis and Feedback based on your performance in exercises and mocks. This feedback is customised to you. This analysis allows you to see, among other things, (a) your section-wise performance in the mocks (b) your sub-area wise performance in exercises (c) your performance in mocks vis-a-vis other students.
