Full-time or part-time research degree opportunities are offered at MPhil and PhD level. The University is always interested to hear from individuals wishing to pursue a research degree.
This programme is designed to provide graduates or those with equivalent qualifications with a qualifying law degree.
The LLB (Hons) Senior Status provides students with all the elements required by the Law Society and the Council for Legal Education in order to have completed the academic stage of legal education prior to going on to a Legal Practice Course to qualify as a solicitor or a Bar Course to qualify as a barrister. It will be of interest to graduates in any discipline who wish to enter the legal profession and is an alternative to the conversion courses for graduates available at other institutions.
Modules include Legal Method & Legal Skills, Law of Contract, Public Law, Criminal Law, Introduction to the International Legal Environment, Legal Research Methods & Skills, Law of Tort, Equity & the Law of Trusts, Real Property and European Union Law.

The course is suitable for graduates in any
discipline or those with equivalent qualifications.
