Le'GALA 2005 (December 16 - 18)
They’ve done it before, and they’ve
done it in style! This time, however, it’s even more special
than it usually is! A decade of brilliance leads up to the 10th
edition of Le’gala, the inter-collegiate literary and
cultural festival of the NLSIU student body. If there
wasn’t a reason to mark off November 11th to
13th December 16th to 18th on your calendar as
red-letter days, you have one now – miss this festival,
and you miss one of the most vibrant student activities in the
country! The fest features a whole range of activities from
quizzes, jamming, dramatics, song 'n' dance to a large number
of informals.

The NLS Debate
This is India’s biggest parliamentary-style debating
competition, and is spread over 4 days (November 10-13, 2005).
It follows a challenging format based on international tournaments
and having drawn Pakistani and Sri Lankan teams in the past,
this year’s edition promises to be bigger and better.

Strawberry Fields
Strawberry Fields is among the country’s largest rock-shows.
It has been voted India’s best rock fest by Rock Street
Journal online users, and has drawn close to 50 bands in the
2003 and 2004 editions. This year’s edition will happen
at the Palace Grounds, Bangalore with the prelims on November
11 and 12, December 16 and 17, 2005 and
the 5 finalists will play with a headlining band on November
13 December 18, 2005.

Rampart
Rampart is the Inter-Collegiate fashion-show hosted by NLSIU.
This year’s edition is scheduled for November 10, 2005.
