CLAT is held annually in December of every year. CLAT 2024 will be held in December 2023.

CLAT is conducted online in the test centers announced post registration for the exam.

The one-time application fee which is non-refundable for CLAT2024 is:

  • INR 4,000 for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates.
  • INR 3,500 for SC/ST/BPL candidates.

There is no upper age limit prescribed for CLAT2024.

To be eligible to appear for CLAT 2024, candidates should have passed 10+2 (or its equivalent examination) with:

  • 45% marks (or an equivalent grade) for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates.
  • 40% marks (or an equivalent grade) for SC/ST categories.

Candidates appearing in their qualifying examination in March 2024 are eligible to appear for CLAT2024. However, they are required to submit the passing certificate of the qualifying examination on completion. In case of the certificate isn’t produced, the candidate will not be eligible for admission to the course.
