Frequently Asked Questions

Who should opt for CL-LST's CLAT coaching classes?

CL-LST's classroom programs have been specifically designed to facilitate CLAT preparation for different kinds of aspirants. If you have completed Class X (or have recently started Class XI), you should check out LST Span - our flagship two-year program. If you are in Class XII, our one-year program, LST Plus, which has been designed to strike a balance between CLAT preparation and the school syllabus, would be most suitable for you. If you need to improve your fundamentals, and clear queries, our intensive crash course LST Express - starting 4-6 weeks before CLAT - would be ideal for you. In case you are retaking a law-entrance exam, or have enrolled in an undergraduate course,
the 8-10-month long LST Bullet program will streamline your CLAT preparation; and get you fully prepared.

What is a typical CLAT coaching session like?

A typical CL-LST session for CLAT is conducted for two hours. The students are acquainted with the basic concepts of the topic in hand, with the help of examples. A lot of emphasis is laid on practice, which is considered the key to crack competitive exams. Class exercises are handed over to students; and are followed by rigorous discussions. The focus at CL-LST in on interactive learning that encourages every student not to hesitate to voice any doubt they might have; and ask for clarifications.

Which are the areas an aspirant should lay stress on during CLAT preparation?

Every student should know their own strong and weak areas. They should work on them during our classes for CLAT in order to excel in the test. To begin with, they should focus on their strengths and avoid the weaker areas, keeping in mind the CLAT paper carries negative marking. This will also help students to form their own strategy.

What are the problems a CLAT aspirant may not foresee?

CLAT likes to throw surprises, leaving students bewildered in the examination halls. CLAT 2011, for instance, had four RCs, while leaving out grammar and vocabulary questions, which are, otherwise, parts of the paper. Thus, it is better to have an open mind, and be ready to field googlies. The major challenge lies in managing time and understanding the navigation system. Make sure that the analysis of the tests taken during our CLAT coaching classes helps you identify-and work on-your strengths and weaknesses.
